Dawn to Dusk Software has announced QRecall 1.2 (http://www.qrecall.com/), an update to their backup and archiving software for Mac. Among other features, users can now “fly” through a 3D model of their captured data, view deleted items, and search file names.
Syncro Soft (http://www.oxygenxml.com) has rolled out version 14 of its Oxygen XML Editor, Oxygen XML Author and Oxygen XML Developer products containing a set of tools supporting all the XML related technologies. The upgrade introduces new concepts and functionality that change the way XML and XML-related applications are developed, according to the folks at Syncro Soft.
Reinvented Software has released Together 2.6 (http://reinventedsoftware.com/together/) for Mac OS X. It’s an application for storing, previewing, editing and searching all kinds of files. Version 2.6 introduces an updated user interface, Retina graphics, improvements for working with linked files, email indexing and more.
Objective Development has revved Little Snitch (http://www.obdev.at/products/littlesnitch/index.html), which monitors outgoing network connections, to version 2.5.3. It offers improved stability and bug fixes.
RealMac Software has upped LittleSnapper (http://www.realmacsoftware.com/littlesnapper/), a screen capture tool, to version 1.8.3. The upgrade offers stability improvements and some bug fixes.
Black Cat Systems says version 63.0 of MultiMode OS X has been released. This version includes substantial improvements to SSTV (Slow Scan TV) decoding and display, the ability to specify the mark and space tone frequencies for Packet mode, as well as several user interface enhancements. MultiMode is an application which allows your Macintosh to decode and transmit several different modes of non-voice communication often heard on shortwave and ham radio.
