The summer schedule of many North American MUGs (meaning that many are on hiatus) contributes to another slow week on The MUG Event Calendar.
A Kansas group will benefit from a presentation from Johan-Till Broer of Garmin, and many groups will be talking about the debut of Mountain Lion, whether it is at the top of their agenda, or just general banter. Other topics that will be covered include video creation, robots and two different groups examining ebooks and publication.
“The MUG Event Calendar” can be found at The MUG Center (http://www.mugcenter.com), an online resource for Mac User Groups. MUGs are good places for making new friends in the Mac community, imProving your computing skills, finding solutions to technical Problems, and perhaps locating a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s MUG page (http://www.apple.com/usergroups/).
