Another day, another lawsuit. Wayne Goodrich, a former executive producer with Apple, is suing Apple for firing him when he was promised a job for life, reports “Bloomberg.”
Goodrich claims that he was a “confidant, sounding board, and close adviser” to Steve Jobs, who purportedly told him he would always have a job at Apple, even if his current position were to be eliminated. However, Goodrich was fired in December for “business reasons”” unrelated to his job performance, he says.
Goodrich filed a lawsuit on Aug. 17 in The Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara, claiming breach of contract and unfair business practices, “Bloomberg” reports. The suit seeks damages for wages, benefits, the loss of restricted stock, and emotional distress. For more info go tohttp://macte.ch/3leSY .
