Mobivention has released Hangman Hero 1.0 for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. It’s a digital version of the classic game. Hangman Hero is available in a free, ad-supported version and an US$2.99, ad-free version.
PebbleQuest has announced My Animal Discovery, a series of mobile applications designed to teach children about their favorite animals. My Animal Discovery combines puzzle play, wildlife video footage and educational content, so children can learn about the animals they love. Each app — available in free, ad-supported versions and paid, ad-free versions — has 10 animals and each animal can be assembled through a puzzle design with settings that can be changed to make the puzzle more or less challenging depending on the fine motor skills of the child.
Untold Sky has introduced Instasmooth 1.0. The $1.99 app features more than 150 smoothie recipes. Instasmooth allows smoothie enthusiasts to search for recipes by type or by any of more than 700 ingredients.
Big Monk Games has unveiled Math Swipe Jr. 1.0 for the iPad. The $1.99 game was specifically developed for children learning and/or struggling with beginning math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication or division. The player swipes across the on-screen numbers and operators needed to arrive at the answer. When swiped, the images explode and make a tone to acknowledge correct and incorrect answers.
AD Mooniz has launched HD Mooniz for the iPad. The $1.99 game enlists players to save the Earth from the invasion of moon monsters called Mooniz. Players tap groups of same colored Mooniz to make them explode in a display of colors. The game features power-ups, point multipliers, first aid kits, and more.
ByteDat has debuted Frosting Fallout 1.0. In the $0.99 game, the Cakes have planned an uprising and are coming after Kare, a red dragon. Help her as she tries to dodge colorful, yet vengeful, cakes.
Mobile Creators has served up Great Coffee App 1.0 for iOS. The $1.99 app is a short introduction to the 16 most popular espresso-based drinks.
POTG Apps has driven out 3D Math Racing (free) and 3D Math Racing PRO ($0.99) for iOS. It’s a smash-em-up arcade-style racing game that covers math basics of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Correct answers provide a speed boost for your vehicle.
