Selznick Scientific Software (www.selznick.com) has announced three new versions of PasswordWallet 4.7.1 for Mac OS X, iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, and Windows, updates to its password management solution. The apps allow users to automatically sync all of their passwords between their Mac, iDevices, Windows, and Android devices via Dropbox.
Joe Workman of Aspect Services (http://joeworkman.net) has given us an update to MyNest. With this update, MyNest has a new name, Climate. Climate allows users to manage their Nest thermostats directly from their Mac menu bar. This allows you to glance and verify that your thermostat is setup just as you like it. Climate 1.1 displays the temperature settings of up to three Nest devices in the user’s menu bar.
The Firefox web browser (http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/) has been revved to version 18. It adds Retina display support and more.
Adobe (www.adobe.com) has released Reader 11.0.01, the latest version of its free PDF reader. It provides security mitigations, feature enhancements, and bug fixes.
Cristallight and Don Kurt have rolled out iBarcoder 3.5.0 (http://www.cristallight.com/iBarcoder/), an upgrade of the Mac barcode software. GS1 Databar barcode symbology has been added.
