SEP Software’s new, integrated solution to backup servers, desktop computers and laptops works –and works well — with Mac OS X (64-bit) running Mac OS X 10.7 and higher. Support for earlier versions is planned.
It’s designed to fill a gap missing for many users in the Mac world. Until now, few products met the demands required to fit into an enterprise class backup solution. Now, C-level managers, System Admins and Mac users can rest easy, knowing their data is being backed up as SEP sesam backs up everything from proprietary systems to open source solutions.
Mac servers can be added to any SEP sesam backup topology. Both backups and restores are completed using SEP sesam’s patented Multi-Stream technology.
System administrators can now automatically backup any Mac server, workstation or laptop. Backup jobs for thousands of servers or computers can all start at the same time without the need for complex scheduling.
In addition, SEP sesam’s graphical user interface (GUI) can be installed on Mac OS X, Windows, Linux and Unix systems. The system administrator can access the backup environment from anywhere that he has Internet access.
