The Java 7 Update 11 has been blocked by Apple via its XProtect anti-malware feature in Mac OS X, notes “AppleInsider’ (www.appleinsider.com).
Oracle released Java 7 Update 11 earlier this month to address a security vulnerability. Now that Apple has disabled it, Mac users can’t run Java on their systems.
