Shareholders voted to reelect all eight of Apple’s board members at today’s shareholder meeting. That includes Andrea Jung, Apple’s only female board member, who was forced to resign as the chief executive of Avon last year and now serves as a senior advisor for the beauty products company, reports “CNET” (http://tinyurl.com/c8cv7e7).
The company also said majority voting on preferred shares will be coming in the future and that it’s committed to majority voting on various proxy items. However, no stock split has been announced.
