Insider Software has announced FontAgent Pro 6, an update to its professional font manager for the Mac. It integrates diagnostics, repair, font selection, font book creation, and design tools.
Version 6 adds a new Workflow Center, support for Adobe Creative Cloud, more than 1,350 free fonts, faster font search, more powerful ESP keyword font search, expanded font verification, and Smasher 3 automatic maintenance software.
FontAgent Pro’s features include multiple font libraries, a customizable user interface, live font search, WYSIWYG font viewing, and a Font Player that plays glyphs and text strings in a slide show for interactive font selection.
FontAgent Pro requires Mac OS X 10.6.8 or high. It supports all Mac OS X fonts — Open Type, Type 1, dfont, Mac and Windows TrueType — as well as local and networked home directories. Version 6 adds auto-activation support for Adobe Creative Cloud, Creative Suite 3 to 6, and QuarkXPress 6 to 9. It’s compatible with FontAgent Pro Server 5, TeamServer 5 and CloudServer (separate license required)
FontAgent Pro 6 for Mac is free to users who have current support and maintenance agreements or who purchased FontAgent Pro 5 after July 1, 2013.
