Libratone’s Loop is new, funky though pricey (US$499.95) stereo system that provides wireless audio streaming and works great with Apple products. It can be mounted to a wall or placed on a table or shelf thanks to its “kickstand” supports.
The Loop works works wirelessly with the iPad, iPhone, Androids, Macs or PCs, enabling sound through AirPlay or DNLA. The speaker also can be used without a Wi-Fi network router through Libratone’s patented PlayDirect technology.
What’s more the Loop also can stream wirelessly from Internet radio stations and services such as Pandora and Spotify, as well as integrating with TVs and other home entertainment systems. Sound sources, volume and other controls can be managed through the Libratone app.
The Loop is available at https://shop.libratone.com/en-us . It will also be available at Apple retail stores and Apple’s online store. The Loop comes in pepper black, salty grey and raspberry red flavors.
