Apple’s Photos — the app that will replace iPhoto and Aperture on Macs — is only available in the latest beta version of Mac OS X Yosemite, but Brattoo Propaganda Software has already introduced Duplicates Annihilator for the software.
Duplicate Annihilator compares the images in your Photos library, using algorithms to make sure that no duplicates escape, says Anders Bjarby, CEO of Brattoo Propaganda Software. He says that the app provides the ability to detect, display and delete duplicate photos, thumbnails, thumbnails of faces, corrupt jpegs and missing image files.
Duplicate Annihilator requires Mac OS X Yosemite and Photos 1.0. It sells for US$7.95) and is available from Brattoo Propaganda Software online (http://brattoo.com/propaganda/).
