Apple has reenabled iOS 9’s App Slicing feature. It had been temporarily unavailable due to a bug in iCloud.
App Slicing (also known as app thinning) tailors app delivery to the capabilities of the user’s particular device, with minimal footprint. This optimization, called app thinning, lets you create apps that use the most device features, occupy minimum disk space, and accommodate future updates that can be applied by Apple.
Starting with iOS 9.0.2, users will have access to updated apps that take advantage of App Thinning.
