Sony Creative Software has announced the availability of Vegas Pro 13 Edit at Steam, the online game platform.
Since its introduction, the Vegas Pro family of video editing applications has become a favorite with game developers and producers of machinima, according to John Freeborg, vice president Sony Creative Software. This Steam-exclusive version of Vegas Pro 13 Edit offers a professional production environment for all those that create, consume, and enjoy digital content, he adds.
Vegas Pro 13 Edit’s video and audio production capabilities are expanded via Vegas Pro Connect, the Vegas Pro 13 Edit collaboration enhancement app for iPad.
Vegas Pro 13 will be available at Steam for US$259.99 for one week, starting Nov. 2. Thereafter, its regular price will be $399.99. Further, upgrades to Vegas Pro 13 from Vegas Movie Studio Platinum and Suite, Steam-Powered, will be available at 25 percent off the full version price.
