IK Multimedia has announced the Dimebag Darrell CFH Collection for AmpliTube. This new collection features models of the gear used by “Dimebag” Darrell Lance Abbott on Pantera’s album, “Cowboys From Hell.” Mac/PC users can enjoy nine brand new models including two amps, two cabinets and five stompboxes.
AmpliTube is a guitar and bass tone studio for Mac/PC and works both as a standalone application and as a plug-in for most recording software. The software’s Live mode integrates with iRig Stomp I/O, IK’s USB pedalboard controller/audio interface, for real-gear control while recording or on stage. AmpliTube is also compatible with IK’s iRig HD 2, iRig Pro I/O and iRig Pro Duo portable audio interfaces for easy connectivity to AmpliTube or any other software.
The Dimebag Darrell CFH Collection runs inside AmpliTube Custom Shop, a free download available to all. The Collection is now available for pre-order via IK’s online store (www.ikmultimedia.com), inside the Custom Shop, or from IK authorized retailers for a special introductory price of $79.99. The Collection will commence shipping next month, after which it can be purchased for the regular price of $99.99.
No previous purchase of AmpliTube is required. Individual models can also be purchased à la carte. The new collection will show up as an optional purchase for existing users.
