Native Instruments has unveiled the second generation KOMPLETE AUDIO 6. Designed for small bands, duos, or solo producers, it comes with a flexible set of connections for studio or stage.
The $239 KOMPLETE AUDIO 6 boasts a sleek, all-black design in a glass and aluminum housing. It comes with high-definition recording at up to 192 kHz / 24-bit, ultra-low latency, and all-new preamps with improved gain range and higher dynamic range for lower noise floors when recording.
Six inputs and six outputs let musicians and producers bring their whole setup together: four analog in/out (with DC coupled ¼” TRS outputs for controlling modular analog synths), two digital in/out (SPDIF), and MIDI in/out. They can connect mics, guitars, and other instruments, control external gear via MIDI or CV, create send and return loops with effects, and more, with the convenience of USB bus-power.
KOMPLETE AUDIO 6 comes with two high-power headphone outputs. With latency-free direct monitoring, playback can be blended with monitored audio to the desired level using a dedicated knob, to hear exactly what’s being recorded, in real-time. Headphone output power has also been doubled from the previous generation.
Like KOMPLETE AUDIO 1 and 2, AUDIO 6 comes with all the software needed to record and build tracks, plus synths, effects, and more. Additionally, it comes with Native’s MOD PACK – a set of three modulation effects, as well as TRAKTOR LE 3 – a lightweight edition of the flagship DJ software, TRAKTOR PRO 3.
