The Pixelmator Team has released Pixelmator Pro 2.2 Carmel an update to its image editing software.
The upgrade adds support for macOS Monterey and Shortcuts, a new Split Comparison View, a new Bokeh effect, and more. Pixelmator Pro now boasts over 50 image editing tools for retouching, reshaping, painting, drawing, adding shapes, text, styles, and effects, adjusting colors, selecting image areas, moving and arranging elements

OWC has announced the availability of SoftRAID 6.2 for Mac, adding compatibility for macOS 12 Monterey and for the first time ever, support for APFS volumes.

Adobe has unveiled new features for its Creative Cloud suite of apps at its annual MAX conference, including major updates to Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom.

Zevrix Solutions has rolled out Deliver Express 2.7, a maintenance update to company’s file transfer solution based on hot folder automation.
The utility supports FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, Amazon S3 and other remote and local destinations. Deliver Express offers automatic email delivery notifications, file compression, instant PDF creation and more while serving unlimited users on a network. Version 2.7 introduces an updated SFTP upload engine and solves connection issues with certain SFTP servers.
Deliver Express can be purchased the from Zevrix website. License prices are based on the maximum number of allowed destinations and range from $29.95 to $299.95. The update is free for licensed customers. A demo is available for download. Deliver Express requires macOS 10.9-12.x.
The folks at Affinity have announced that Affinity Photo, Designer and Publisher are optimized “to deliver a seamless upgrade experience for Apple users installing the new macOS Monterey.”
And buyers of the latest MacBook Pro with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, shipping this week, “will enjoy stunning speed improvements when using all three apps,” they add. Existing users of Affinity apps on macOS can download Affinity 1.10.3 for free now.
