Often, items are not the best size in VMware Fusion. For example, here’s the Start Screen in Windows 8. The icons are too small, and the interface items are not optimally distributed as they should be for the Metro interface.

At time of this writing, Apple’s Boot Camp does not support Windows 8. Furthermore, PCs don’t have Retina displays. In both Parallels and VMware Fusion, however, the Start Screen is vastly improved over what a PC can display.
