i2Display Pro offers color accuracy for screen, projector

By Aaron Westgate

In addition to calibrating displays, X-Rite’s (http://www.xrite.com) i1Display Pro (US$269) also calibrates projectors, measures ambient light, and corrects for glare (for displays lacking a hood). The i1Display Pro comes with X-Rite’s new i1Profiler software.

Defense for the iPhone is a great idea — if it worked

When I first heard of X-Doria’s (http://www.x-doria.com) Defense and Defense Pro line (with pricing starting at US$14.99), I thought, “This is the screen protector for me and my iPhone.”

The system sports an alignment grid printed on each piece of a Defense screen protection. To install you:

Leather Caj for the iPad does Apple’s Smart Cover one better

Uniea’s US$54.95 Leather Caj Pad (http://macte.ch/Hf4d3) is one of the more intriguing iPad cases I’ve seen. Its foldable front looks almost identical to the Apple Smart Cover (sans the attaching magnets; you insert the iPad into the case). However, unlike the Smart Cover it also protects the back of your Apple tablet.

Satechi R1 stand for the iPad useful in variety of situations

Have you ever come across a situation where you couldn’t hold the iPad or tablet in your hand while doing an activity? Did you ever think, “I wish I had a stand to put this iPad on while I am [insert your favorite activity here].” If so then I think Satechi has answered your thinking out loud with a product called the R1 Arm Series.
