Tripath TA2024 amplifier included on flat-panel iMac
Tripath Technology, Inc. today announced that its new TA2024 amplifier is featured as standard equipment on Apple’s newly announced flat-panel iMac. The amplifier, which is incorporated into the iMac’s main circuit board assembly to power the speaker system, met Apple’s requirements for a top-quality audio system that met the iMac enclosure’s space and thermal restrictions. Tripath’s amplifiers are also used across Apple’s Power Mac G4 tower product line.
