Digital cameras continue to gain popularity
A survey of 1,850 Internet-connected homes by InfoTrends Research found that 33 percent owned a digital camera in 2001, with that number expected to climb to 60 percent by the end of 2002, according to c|net. Among those that own a digital camera, a large majority now use it as their primary means of photography, and 19 percent have stopped using film cameras altogether.
