US appeals court reverses Microsoft break-up
In a 7-0 ruling today, a federal appeals court reversed the breakup of Microsoft, citing “serious judicial misconduct” by US District Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson, who originally handed the ruling. The appeals court said Jackson made inappropriate comments to the media that gave the impression he was biased against Microsoft.
