PC and semiconductor markets will languish until 2005, says IDC
The PC and semiconductor industries won’t be poised for a rebound until 2005, according to a new report from International Data Corporation. IDC predicts the PC market to decline from US$38.6 billion in 2000 to $27.3 billion this year, while the semiconductor market will fall from $50.3 billion to $38 billion.
