Apple quietly ships 128-bit AirPort card
Apple has begun shipping a new version of its AirPort card that features 128-bit encryption, MacMinute sources have confirmed. This represents a significant improvement over the 40-bit encryption that previous AirPort cards featured. The new card can be identified by the product number M7600LL/C; the previous generation card (M7600LL/B) is still available in the channel, although it has been discontinued.
