Key Hopping to improve wireless network security
NextComm today introduced a new technology dubbed Key Hopping that it says will greatly improve the security of 802.11-based wireless networks. The technology uses security keys that are frequently changed to prevent intruders from breaking the encryption. NextComm says it will work with OEM suppliers to implement Key Hopping, and expects the first 802.11 products to ship with the technology by the end of the year. Read More
