Apple has posted a new feature to its games site on Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPGs). “Massively multiplayer online role-playing games enable you to become a noble knight fighting monsters and collecting treasure, or a soldier on the European battlefields of World War II, or even a giant red Tringo-playing robot. Apple has posted a new games feature on Playnet’s Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) World War II Online: Battleground Europe. The game is an “improved, upgraded and vastly expanded version of the original WWII Online game that was released a few years ago. This is an advanced combat simulation with air, sea and ground units engaged in real-time battle.

Apple has posted a new feature to the games section of its Web site. “Power Game Factory, Torque Game Engine and Torque 2D, Unity and PTK each offer something slightly different to aspiring game designers, but they all serve the same end goal: bring game making to those without multi-million dollar budgets and large teams of artists and programmers. Darwinia is a strategy game set in a virtual themepark. Playing inside a computer network with retro arcade inspired graphics, you must save the Darwinians.
