Bahrain schools go Mac
A BD2.6 million contract was signed yesterday “to take Bahrain’s government schools into cyber space,” reports the Gulf Daily News. Schools throughout the Persian Gulf country will be using Macs to help children keep up with the electronic age, according to the story (first noted at MacSurfer). The contract for the deal was signed between the Education Ministry, Apple Centre and the Integrated Technology Group (ITG).
