Blinkx today announced the free beta availability of blinkx 2.0 for Macintosh, featuring what the company calls “Smart Folders,” intelligent folders that automatically update their content as new information becomes available, based on the ideas contained within the content of those files. “After extensive research and development, we’re pleased to extend blinkx’s innovative contextual search capabilities to the Mac community,” said blinkx CEO, Mark Opzoomer.
