Deep Prose Software today announced the availability of Booxter 2.0.4 for Mac OS X. With Booxter users can create multiple libraries and smart lists to organize their books, music, movies and comic books the way they want. It supports both handheld and wireless barcode scanners and iSight video cameras to quickly add large numbers of items to a collection. Version 2.0.4 adds localization in German, and also includes a number of performance improvements.

It gathers book information from various sources on the Internet to allow users to view, edit, sort, categorize, export and print books of interest. Version 1.8 adds official support for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, with full Spotlight integration. In addition, smart lists from Booxter can be dragged directly to the Finder to create instant smart folders.
