iPod boosts Apple in brand value ranking
Thanks to the popularity of the iPod, Apple gained a “staggering” 24 percent in brand value to US$6.9 billion and rose seven places to No. 43 on Interbrand’s ranking of the 100 top global brands by dollar value. The top ten in 2004 were: Coca Cola, Microsoft, IBM, GE, Intel, Disney, McDonald’s, Nokia, Toyota, and Marlboro.
