Brother International today introduced its next generation of low-profile color inkjet flatbed Multi-Function Center models — the new MFC-210c, MFC-420cn and MFC-620cn. This new line-up features print speeds of up to 20ppm for monochrome and up to 15ppm for color (draft mode), borderless printing for all standard photo sizes, high resolution 6000 x 1200 dpi photo-quality output, and more.

Brother International Corporation has announced the MFC-8220, a US$349.99 all-in-one device targeted to small to medium-size businesses. It offers printing, digital copying, faxing and is compatible with Mac OS X (10.2.1 and higher) and Mac OS 8.6-9.2. The MFC-8220 also supports networking with the purchase of an optional internal print/fax server.

Brother International today introduced several new laser printers, including its first sub-US$1,000 color laser printer for small businesses — the new HL-2700CN, with up to 31ppm monochrome printing, 8ppm color, built-in networking, and more. The HL-2700CN has an estimated street price of $899, and is expected to ship this month.

Brother today announced a new line of 5-in-1 flatbed laser Multi-Function Center (MFC) products. The new models MFC-8420, MFC-8820D and MFC-8820DN, offer plain-paper faxing, laser printing, digital copying, color scanning and PC faxing. Designed with a flatbed scanning area that accommodates single-sheets or bound documents up to legal size, the new series from Brother comes with faster print speeds (up to 17ppm), increased memory and a new 5-line back-lit LCD display.

Brother today announced that it has previewed new color flatbed Multi-Function Center (MFC) models at this month’s 2003 International Consumer Electronics Show. The new color ink jet MFC-4420c and MFC-4820c are scheduled for availability this spring.

Brother today introduced the HL-7050 and the network-ready HL-7050N commercial-class office laser printers. The printers feature print speeds of up to 30 pages per minute (PPM), 1200×1200 dpi print quality and come standard with 32MB of memory. They also feature several expansion options and productivity enhancements. The HL-7050 and HL-7050N, which are expected to ship in late December, have estimated street prices of US$999 and $1,099, respectively.
