Canon releases new digital cameras, photo printer

Canon today announced several new digital cameras, as well as a new photo printer. First up is the company’s new 16.7 megapixel EOS-1Ds MARK II SLR (shown at right), which offers commercial photographers a full-size 24x36mm CMOS sensor to eliminate focal length conversion factors and features improved image quality with its new image sensor and Canon’s exclusive DIGIC II image processor. Canon revamps digital camera line

Canon has made several enhancements to its digital camera line. The company has introduced two new and enhanced PowerShot point-and-shoot digital cameras: the US$299 3.2-megapixel PowerShot A75 and the entry-level $199 3.2-megapixel PowerShot A310. The Canon ELPH line has been expanded with three new models: the PowerShot S500 (a $499, five-megapixel model), the S410 (a $399, four-megapixel camera) and the SD110 (a $299, 3.2 megapixel model).
