Ambrosia Software today announced the release of a Universal Binary of Darwinia 1.4.2. This latest release of the realtime strategy game is free to registered users of Darwinia. New features of version 1.4.2 include: support for Intel-based Macs; functional key pad bindings; new difficulty settings; and numerous other bug fixes and enhancements. Darwinia is priced at US$29 and requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later.

Ambrosia Software today announced the release of Darwinia 1.2.2, the latest release of its action with strategic battle planning game. Changes in version 1.2.2 include a new selection box system, better radar dish behavior, task manager and level editor improvements, and several other enahncements and bug fixes. Darwinia requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later and is priced at US$29. A free trial version is also available.

Ambrosia Software is teaming up with Introversion to deliver a Mac OS X version of Darwinia, a new game from the creators of Uplink. “Combining fast paced action with strategic battle planning, Darwinia features a novel and intuitive control mechanism, a graphical style ripped from 80’s retro classics, and a story concerning a tribe of video game sprites trapped in a modern 3D game world.” Ambrosia is also seeking beta testers for the new game.
