Alsoft today announced DiskWarrior 3.0.3, an update to its award-winning disk repair utility. The new version provides compatibility for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. Alsoft said DiskWarrior 3.0.3 now supports Tiger’s new Access Control Lists (ACL) and extended file attributes, and has improved journaling support and enhanced RAID support, including the new concatenated RAID volumes. Alsoft has announced the release of DiskWarrior 3.0.1, an update to its powerful disk repair utility. According to the developer, “in order to run DiskWarrior while started up from Mac OS X 10.3.x (Panther), you will need to use DiskWarrior 3.0.1. When rebuilding your disk, the new version of DiskWarrior features faster performance and enhanced compatibility with the evolving Mac OS.

Alsoft has released an updated DiskWarrior 2.1 CD that will boot all current hardware, including the new 17-inch iMacs and the recently introduced dual-processor Power Mac G4s. The disk repair utility works with Mac OS 7.1 or higher and Mac OS X. DiskWarrior 2.1 users can order the updated DiskWarrior 2.1 CD directly from Alsoft for US$12.95 plus $5 shipping.
