Today at Apple’s WWDC 2006 DVDxDV has released new versions of it’s professional quality DVD extraction software. The new versions of both DVDxDV and DVDxDV Pro constantly monitor the user’s hard drive during extraction to prevent it from running out of free space. DVDxDV is widely used through-out the television and film industry to create broadcast quality video from standard DVDs. New Software lets you edit DVDs

DVDxDV is a new software program that transforms DVDs into digital media that can be read by a Mac just like a flash memory card from a digital camera. Using DVDxDV, clips from various home movie DVDs can be brought together to make a new movie. The final movie can be burned to a DVD, transferred to tape, or put on a Web page. DVDxDV requires Mac OS X 10.2 or higher and comes in both a US$25 consumer version and an $80 professional version.
