A few of the highlights include: revenues of US$351.6 million, compared to $353.7 million from the first quarter of 2003; earnings before interest income and expense, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of $42.7 million, compared to $22.0 million from a year ago; and a net loss of $11.8 million, or $0.07 per share, compared to a loss of $65.7 million, or $0.43 per share a year ago. EarthLink today launched TotalAccess 2004 for Macintosh and announced that it has become the first major ISP to provide a Web accelerator, free-of-charge, to Mac users, according to the press release. The Web accelerator allows users to surf the Web “up to five times faster than typical 56K dial-up speeds,” says EarthLink.
