YAV Interactive Media today released Email Magician 2.0, an update to the company’s spam filtering utility for Eudora. The program checks for around 1,500 spam characteristics when it generates hundreds of customized spam filters and possible spam filters. Email Magician also automatically creates filters, mailboxes, and address book entries. Version 2.0 includes a new Setup Wizard with 37 screens designed to teach you the program’s features while you configure the software for your unique email habits. Email Magician 2.0 sells for US$36.

YAV Interactive Media has released Email Magician 1.9.10, a spam filtering utility for Eudora. This release adds 150 new spam filter definitions and a new quick spam filter update option to facilitate more frequent updates planned to enhance the program’s spam definitions. The company also notes that version 2 is scheduled for release very soon and the price of the software (now US$35) will go up at that time. Anyone purchasing Email Magician before the release of version 2 will be able to upgrade for free.
