The Final Cut Pro User Group (FCPUG) Network, which consists of over 25 FCP user groups from around the world, have arranged to meet at the New Yorker Hotel in New York City on Thursday, July 17 during the Macworld CreativePro Expo. Guests for the event include Apple’s Brian Schmidt, who will demo DVD Studio Pro 2, and Final Cut Pro Product Manager Paul Saconne, who will demo “What’s new and what you should know in FCP 4.” The meeting will be open to the public on a first come-first seated basis with doors opening at 5:00 p.m.

The Final Cut Pro User Group Network will be holding “the largest gathering of Final Cut Pro users and gurus” at Macworld Expo on Wednesday, January 8 at the Marriott Hotel’s Yerba Buena room, beginning at 6:45 PM PT. The event will bring together leaders from the Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, and Cupertino FCP User Groups, as well as dozens of other FCP Gurus from the USA and abroad. Scheduled to be on the agenda will be FCP Product Designer Brian Meaney, who will talk about FCP and beyond. Final Cut Pro trainer Steve Martin will present FCP tips and tricks.
