Stick Software today released Fracture, 1.4, the latest version of their popular screensaver for Mac OS X. Fracture generates an infinite variety of beautiful fractal images based upon mathematical formulas such as the Mandelbrot Set. With version 1.4, Fracture is Mac OS X 10.5 compatible; it was already Universal, so it will now run on all Macs running Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later. Several other bug fixes and tweaks have also been made, so this release is a recommended upgrade for all users.

Stick Software has announced the release of Fracture 1.2, an update to the company’s fractal screensaver. Version 1.2 adds a “save every completed image” feature for users who wish to review the art Fracture has made while their machine was idle. It also adds online version checking so users can be notified of further updates. Fracture is priced at US$10.

Version 1.1 adds support for multiple monitors, saving in JPEG format, setting the desktop to a fractal image, and generating thumbnail icons for saved files, and fixes a few minor bugs. Fracture is US$10 shareware.
