If Then Software has released IDIot 1.0, a new utility targeted at developers and those who distribute Mac OS X software electronically over the Web. It creates an Internet-enabled disk image (IDI) that “cleans up” after itself leaving behind only the desired software and nothing else related to the download process. “Convert existing read-only disk images to the new internet disk image format, or disable the feature from current Internet disk images.

MacTrivia 1.0 is a fun new game that will test your knowledge of Macintosh and Apple trivia with questions that range from very easy to extremely difficult. The game ships with one default 25-question starter pack for you to play with, and you can donate to If Then Software for other larger question packs (there are currently 3 100-question packs available). The game features timed-play, an automatically saved scoreboard, variable-point questions, and a random question bonus.

eSanta 1.0 is a freeware Mac OS X application that will allow your children to email Santa Claus without the use of the Internet. The program simulates connecting to the “Santaputer” at the North Pole with connection progress bars, and will then send your children back a customized letter that he or she can print, or use the onboard speech to speak. eSanta solves the problem of not receiving a reply email from St. Nick by formulating a response to your children each and every time. The program also displays the remaining days until Christmas.
