Lexar Media today introduced Image Rescue 2.0, an enhanced version of its popular image recovery software. Lexar says that version 2.0 has significantly expanded the number of memory cards from which the software can recover data — it can now recover “lost” or deleted digital images from any memory card, regardless of format or manufacturer.

Lexar Media has announced the introduction of Image Rescue software for Lexar Media CompactFlash to retail outlets worldwide. Image Rescue, the company’s proprietary image file recovery utility, will begin shipping in October with a suggested list price of US$39.99.
