FM::Nexus today announced the release of Inspector 1.1, an update to its comprehensive database analysis tool. Version 1.1 checks for problems, references, and dependencies more than three times faster than before, notes the company. It also provides a new bug indicator icon to identify scripts steps that contain problems rendering them Web incompatible for instant Web publishing, custom Web publishing or when using FX-PHP. Search also now recognizes incompatible script steps.

Elemental Audio Systems has released Inspector 1.2, an update to its audio analysis plug-in. The new version adds Digidesign RTAS support, an enhanced user interface design, automation support, and new spectral display modes. Inspector is available as a free download and supports the following plug-in formats: RTAS (Mac OS X and Win XP), Audio Unit (Mac OS X) and VST (Mac OS X, Windows).
