Dartware has announced the release of InterMapper 4.6, the latest version of its network monitoring and alerting software. This release enhances its proactive network management capabilities and the ability to report on critical network devices and services with a new Cisco IP SLA probe. Dartware has released InterMapper 4.4.3, the latest update to the software that lets network managers provide a real-time view of their network. This update features: Universal Binary support for Intel-based Macs; SNMPv3 functionality; probes for many UPS and wireless vendors; WINS autodiscovery and a number of bug fixes. InterMapper is priced starting from US$495.

Dartware has released the first public beta version of InterMapper Remote 1.5, its utility that provides a remote view on a network’s health. The update adds the ability to create and edit maps from a remote location. InterMapper Remote is available for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X, and is priced at US$195, or $235 with a 14-month support subscription. Educational discounts are also available.
