Apple slapped with several new lawsuits
– In its quarterly report (SEC form 10-Q) filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission Tuesday, Apple revealed that it is a defendent in a number of recent lawsuits—including five dealing with the iPod’s battery. Apple said five separate plaintiffs—known only by their last names of Craft, Chin, Hughes, Westley, and Keegan—filed purported class-action cases alleging misrepresentations relating to iPod battery life.
