Griffin Technology today announced it is now shipping its US$39.99 iTalk Voice Recorder for the iPod. The iTalk snaps directly on top of the iPod and turns it into a fully functional voice recorder and playback device. In addition to it’s built in microphone and internal speaker, the iTalk has a connector that supports both headphone monitoring and the use of an external microphone. Griffin Technology has posted details on the iTalk, a new voice recorder for Apple’s iPod. The add-on device plugs into the top of an iPod and can record “seminars, meetings, classes, notes in your car, songs, or whatever you want” up to 100 feet away. You can also connect an external microphone directly to iTalk for more recording options. Griffin says the device can play back recordings through its integrated speaker or through headphones.
