Tenon today announced a public beta of iTools 8.2 that includes the new Apache 2.2.0. Version 8.2 has numerous enhancements and improvements and, the combination of Apache 2.2, coupled with Mac OS X specific configuration optimizations, yields a performance boost in excess of 50% over previous versions of iTools, notes the company. In addition to releasing this public beta, Tenon is also announcing that its WebSTAR transition offer will expire at the end of February.

Tenon has released iTools 7.3, a new version of its US$349 Web server package for Mac OS X. Version 7.3 adds numerous features, performance enhancements, and Apache version 2.0.49. iTools now includes tools for setting up community discussion boards, displaying photos on the Web, starting your own blog, and creating Web portals. The add-on utilities now include: phpBB, Gallery, b2++, and PHP-Nuke.

Tenon has released iTools 7.2, the latest update to its Apache configuration and management software. New iTools 7.2 features turn Panther clients into secure, multi-domain, easy-to-manage Web servers, DNS servers, and FTP servers. iTools sells for US$349, with discounts on Post.Office and eShox bundles, and is a free upgrade for existing iTools 7 customers.

Tenon has released iTools 7.1, a new version of its Apache configuration and management software that adds support for either Apache 2 or Apache 1.3. Apache 2.0.47, PHP 4.3.2, phpMyAdmin 2.5.1 and MySQL 4.0.13 are included in this new package. The free update also offers an enhanced iTools Manager layout, disk quotas for FTP users, and improved Web log reports, MySQL set up, and bind syntax for the DNS GUI. iTools sells for US$299.

Tenon has released an update to iTools 7.0, its suite of Apache configuration and management tools for Mac OS X 10.2.6. Version 7.0.1 now ships with Apache 2.0.46 and PHP 4.3.2. The update also includes optimizations to its new Web log traffic reporting system. iTools 7 sells for US$349.
