A story on Forbes today reports that Apple may announce a movie download service for iTunes at its special event (entitled “It’s Showtime) on September 12th in San Francisco. Apple and Hollywood studio representatives refused to comment on the speculation of a movie licensing deal, but Forbes notes: “Sources at several Hollywood studios confirmed Tuesday they were in talks to sell their films through iTunes.
