The Register: ‘iTunes DRM cracked wide open’
Back in November we noted that the Norwegian programmer who created the first widely-used tool for cracking the copy protection technology found on DVDs was going after Apple’s iTunes — and he has. The Register is now reporting that Jon Lech Johansen has figured out a way of allowing people to play songs they’ve purchased on iTunes Music Store on their GNU/Linux computers.
