AP: Jobs really did make only $1 last year
According to the Associated Press, Apple CEO Steve Jobs received a pay package worth nearly US$75 million last year. However, all but $1 was in stock that he can’t touch until 2006. “There’s been a big shift in the way America’s top executives are being paid, as once-ubiquitous stock options are replaced by restricted stock and other forms of pay,” notes the article.
