Lasso Professional 8 includes: new multi-site features; on-demand tag loading; POP support; built-in SOAP client; JavaBeans support; a J2EE servlet Web server connector; and more. Blue World today released Lasso Professional 6.0.5, a maintenance update to its software for building and serving data-driven Web sites. The free update for registered users provides security fixes and enhanced reliability. Version 6.0.5 is a recommended update for all users of Lasso Professional 6.

Blue World is the latest to announce Mac OS X 10.3 Panther compatibility for its products. The company said that all versions of Lasso Professional, including the forthcoming version 7, will run on Panther. “Lasso and Panther make for an awesome combo for both developing and serving data-driven Web sites,” said Bill Doerrfeld, Blue World’s CEO.
