UK reseller ‘disappointed’ with Apple store

Darren King, the managing director of London-based Apple reseller Square Group, told PC Pro that he was “disappointed” but “not surprised” by Apple’s announcement of a new retail store in London. Apple plans flagship London store

Apple is planning to open a large flagship store on London’s Regent Street before Christmas, The Times is reporting. The new Apple Store, which will span 20,000 sq ft and cost Apple about £1.5 million a year in rent, would be the company’s first in Europe. The Times said Apple will take space in Crown Estate’s (the holding company for the Queen’s property assets) first re-development at 229-247 Regent Street. Read More
